ADHD Medication – Chapter 22: Why Try Medication?

Experts and adults with ADHD explore two common beliefs about ADHD medication. Ones that host Rick Green shared with many others. One is a rationalization. It runs along the line of, ‘My ADHD isn’t that bad. I’m coping. I’m doing okay.’

But coping and okay… well, what if one could be successful and doing great? It may not seem possible after a lifetime of struggling with ADHD.

The second belief is based on fear, and it goes something like, ‘Better just leave things as they are. I don’t want to make things worse.’ These are common beliefs, and they deserve consideration.
