I know you’re probably a busy man Rick…just listening to you now kinda exhausted and overwhelmed me ……but do you suppose that maybe someday…..when you can get a round 2it…do you suppose you could say something about the ‘lost list’ thing

Really, REALLY wish I would have found you guys before I started my weekend home renovation project — trust me, do not begin tearing drywall down without a specific focused plan of some kind. And it’s best to tie long bungee cords on tools as you will never see them again. Ever.
That simple weekend project (install bathtub) has now entered year 4 and has encompassed all rooms except the attic — which I suspect has all the missing tools. All unfinished. One thing just lead to the other. Great start, poor finish, lousy results.
As you might imagine, my To-Do List is not measured in pages, it’s actually easier to just weigh it on the bathroom scale — which has also gone missing.
But I must admit that stumbling upon TotallyADD has put a whole new spin on a very overwhelming creation and I’m grateful. Truly.
And I don’t mean just the DIY reno-projects gone wrong. Your website has changed how I now approach all the facets of my life — including the faucets for the “new” tub, which went in badly but work just fine if I refer to post it notes (the hot is cold, cold is hot).
Thanks for your approach on ADD — it can get downright serious if left unchecked. You’ve empowered this old fart to Begin Again with a new set of tools that I actually understand — and the instructions are in English, unlike that impulsive German made Router purchase.

In my area, I have help from Independent Living Resource Center. They have helped me many times with complex government and private forms. They help keep me from stalling doing these forms. There are many resources out there, if you look.

Thanks very much for the video!! I struggled for years with the misdiagnosis in the order of occurrence of my depression and anxiety and you perfectly describe how I have actually felt. Honestly, I was always skeptical of the depression coming first because I was much more optimistic (and peppy!) than my non-depressed (and non-ADHD) friends. 🙂

Fear, and imposter syndrome – that’s what gets me. Chronic depression doesn’t help.
Once I get rolling I’m usually fine – but there are so many interruptions. God I HATE interruptions!
