Hi folks, I am living in London/UK.

I tried the NHS here, and it was discouraging, really… The first 3 visits put me off. First I don’t think they knew what ADHD was to begin with, they were trying to follow a computer script with questions and second was the whole process, which could take MONTHS… I was given 2 months follow up intervals without anything done in a session. I mean I wanted to get treated not go for a year training course. Really disappointing.

I quit it! Got mad with it! Didn’t have patience to wait forever to get some computer diagnostic result and eventually get some med prescription. Now I want to tackle the problem, however I don’t know how.

My ADHD is getting worse, I think, I can’t read anything no more, not that I ever had patience for it anyway, however I used to read what was interesting to me once in a while, now… forget it. Patience ZERO, and concentration is really getting worse. Thoughts all confused… and multiplying.

I am trying private docs, but oh boy! How expensive they are here in the UK ! Just for them to see you is a whopping £300 ! That’s around $500 dollars for 1 hour! In this recession I will end up never getting diagnosed, and trust me since I found out that I may have this thing, I have done and I scored FULL in every single online HD test that I could try. I have the whole thing, so I believe.

So my last solution is to buy generic meds and test it myself! Which cutting short would be the same that I would get from the BS NHS.

I bought one MED, I tried 2 pills, however I felt that it was more a calm pill than anything… So I think I will try something else…

Any idea how to get help without selling your house to pay for the treatment in Europe?
