How about getting in an elevator and wondering why it’s so slow… start up already! Then realising I had forgotten to punch in the floor number!

The thing about forgetting what you wanted to do and going back to the place you started from… a regular occurence for me.

The oil burning story – that’s dangerous, you should not try to take it off the stove! My mom got 3rd degree burns to her hands and feet doing that when I was about 8 years old. Strangely enough I have no recollection about that. Just a photo of my confirmation with my mom in her nightgown and bandages by my side.
