Our old bodies are all so different. I started on 18 mg but I think that is only because my GP started me out on meds and she wasn’t sure what she was doing. In fact, she got all panicked and took me off even that low dose. Months later, when I got into see a psychiatrist, he started me on 36 mg and very quickly (a month) had me moved up to 72 mg. He even mentions raising the dose if I see a drop-off in effectiveness.

Even on the initial 18 mg dose my GP gave me, I felt a bit loopy/wired in my brain for the first full week/ week and a half. Then, poof! All those weird tingly feelings were gone and I only noticed the clear headedness.

Isn’t it great that our docs get to figure all the weird stuff out? EAMartens, maybe you’ll be one of the people who needs the adderall or strattera meds.
