As No_dop has said this is a good place, and there are many many folks out here willing to converse. Sharing is good, understanding is good…..there is so much assistance here no matter your direction….you only have to take the first step and reach out.
Remember our perceptions are our frame of reference…….and it is within that framework that we act and react. So if within my frame of reference I view myself as…..hmmmmm…….worthless maybe…then that will bring forward many negative and persistent emotions. If I may suggest, delving into and fully understanding where these perceptions stem from and why, then there is a possibility one can work at changing (slowly over time) ones distorted frame of of reference, or perception, and the messages or emotions that evolve from that.
This awareness and change process is not a short term venture, it can be life long search, but consider if you will, the alternative??? I found reading, talking with others who are on a similar quest or path most helpful and rewarding. A counselor or guide to assist you would be best…however….. if you are in isolation and a counselor is not appropriate…. there is likely clergy who is trained in this aspect. I am not a religious advocate of any sort, far from it, so do not read anything into that. It’s just that clergy are likely to have some counseling training and will provide you assistance at no charge.
It is not terribly important that they are ADD experts……..the process is the same for people from all walks of life who suffer from the affliction you are describing.
Reaching out is key………..if nothing changes, then, nothing changes.
