I got a chuckle out of some of the responses… When I was in high school my friends referred to me as an “absent-minded professor”. I could learn lots of facts about all kinds of various things, but could never remember where I put my drink, my book, or what time I was supposed to arrive for.
I had to make sure everything was a habit: I needed to leave my keys and school stuff in the same place every day, make lists, and carry a notepad so I could refer to it so I wouldn’t forget anything. It helped a bit, but I never considered having this condition until my late 20s!
