ADHD emotions often go from “0” to “11”, with almost no warning.
This may be because we internalize everything so much (so as not to disappoint others, by being “difficult” or “nasty”), that sooner or later, that volcano’s gonna blow!
And when it does, we feel horribly guilty about it, which only makes us internalize more.
Of course, understanding the theory, and actually using it in practice, are two different things!
