cat tree is alas, still pending (the bf wants to get the new floor down in the catbedroom first, so it can be screwed to the wall and never budge an inch… but he’s not so keen on letting me loose with a bloody great big circular mitre saw thingy and $500 of laminate flooring while he’s at work, so i have to muster all of my patience on that one)..

… but as a plus, i’ve since heroically ripped the carpet and underlay out of the catbedroom (and got a nice set of matching blisters all across one hand, as a freebie ) …. dug up a bunch of evil lillies in the back garden (they’re orange- which makes them automatically evil, but they’re also toxic and my cats are stupid and eat anything remotely edible- no doubt including lillies given half a chance)…. got a bit hyperfocused and also dug myself two huge border/beds for growing plants and barries and that kinda thing in, and worked out exactly what plants i wanna stuff into them…. half made several coats with the sewing machine (they need hems and zippers and all that boring measury accuracy stuff)…. rewatched 3 seasons of trueblood ….. procrastinated a bit more about the whole unemployment dealeo…. had a few exciting crazycatlady adventures (one involving THE cutest little 8 week old kitten in the world, ever) …..and dithered about in many other creative ways.
