try a non-stimulant? i’m on straterra- which might affect heart-rate, but doesn’t for me. some antidepressants help some people too- i know that wellbutrin and effexor help me a fair bit in some ways, and quite a few other drugs are used off-label for ADHD.

you could also look at non-medical strategies- taking up yoga, tai chi, meditation, etc- it might be hard to start with, but practice helps. i’ve also learned a lot stretegy-wise from books, recently- again, loads of practice is needed, but it is possible to change habits and behaviour patterns in constructive ways.

are you under the care of a psychiatrist/other ADHD specialist who is well informed about treatment options? if not, i’d head that route, myself.
