Does this explain why the drugs are different for ADHD and Parkinson’s disease?
On the same theme: Could the antiparkinsonians (other than the anticholinergics) help ADHD? Could stimulants help Parkinson’s disease?
After all, a dopaminergic is a dopaminergic, and short of intrathecal administration, they have to make it past the blood-brain barrier somehow. So how could they be so picky as to which site of the brain they affect?
