PERSEVERATION – to repeat something insistently or redundantly: to perseverate in reminding children of their responsibilities
and
PERSEVERANCE – steady persistence in a course of action, a purpose, a state, etc., especially in spite of difficulties, obstacles, or discouragement
?
Should the title of this thread be Hyperfocus vs. Perseveration?
