People with ADHD have trouble learning, staying in school, getting jobs, and keeping jobs. All to say that people with ADHD generally end up with jobs requiring few or no skills and accordingly pay less. Since ADHD has a high genetic component, an ADHD kid is highly likely to have an ADHD parent with most likely a low paying job.

One would expect to find that an ADHD kid would come from one of these lower income households for the above reasons. To do such a study would be like looking for snow in Alaska.
