How do you manage tolerance? Taking a weekend off to be a sleepy zombie may have worked fine for me as a child, but it does not as an adult.
How do you differentiate tolerance and needing a higher dose? Is it possible that I just need a higher dose to be stable? (Maybe a higher dose worked fine at first, but…)
My experience with ADHD has been that it was a work/school problem, but recently I’ve become really acutely aware of the effect it has at home, on my significant other. And looking at the list of symptoms – taking the quiz from the standpoint of taking my medicine daily, I’m… still very ADHD. Not just at night. At work I am able to compensate and cover up well.
I’ll certainly talk to my doctor. But I don’t want to get on a tolerance treadmill – 50mg (Vyvanse) doesn’t work, so I try 70… then that doesn’t work… so 90… and so on.
