I have found that Lexapro works wonderfully. Unfortunately, it’s very expensive and many insurance plans don’t cover it. I pay about $35 a month for it, and some people pay $50 a month and that is after their doctor appeals the insurance compay.
BUT…IT WORKS. I’m a huge advocate for Lexapro, and luckily there should be a generic coming out in February of 2012.
You should definitely talk to your doctor about what is best for you. Everyone is different and it may take a few tries.
Best of luck!
