Thank you to all of you who took time to reply and send encouragement. I have been doing a lot better but still have the odd day but it’s now weeks apart and not every other day. Just to add, on the bad days, weeks apart, it’s so mild that it’s hardly worth a mention:)
I have been taking a herbal remedy called Maca Root (yes, men can take it too) since June. It’s been researched, developed and used for multiple years with great success. Dr. Gloria Chacon de Popovici, a Peruvian doctor, has been studying maca root’s properties since the 1960’s. I can honestly tell you that it works 100% it took about a week to get into my system, that’s when I noticed a difference, but cannot miss a day! I recently went on a holiday and ran out. I hadnt taken it for about 2 weeks and it wasnt until I had a melt down that I realised my BIG mistake. Once again, after about week, I was a different person.
So, how DO I feel; no agitation, no pacing, no temper tantrums, no moodiness. I feel calm, I look forward to getting outa bed in the mornings, I’m more physical and I’ve been told I seem so much happier. I do smile a lot and I’m always joking (I’m great at hiding my true self from others) but my friends and especially my family have seen a change for the better. For me, that’s great!!! but I FEEL different too so something is definitely working in my favour.
To all of you who replied, I would like to say I am doing a bit of everything you all suggested so I like to think it’s a combination of actions that is truly helping me. As well as the Maca Root (2-4 caps a day…sometimes I forget the 2nd dose. It hasnt unbalanced me though as the missed dose is just once in a while) I’m also taking Omega 3 super strength. Whatever works huh, and it does!!!
All the best my ADD friends, our journey is never over so let’s walk it together and stay supportive:) once again, thank you. Here are a few links on Maca if you’re interested;
