That is a good message. It takes responsibility, doesn’t blame anyone for the past, looks forward to a better future, invites them to be part of the solution. Hits the high points, invites them to get educated before they rush to judgement, but tells them that you are willing to listen to what they have to say. What more can they ask. As a group of people that spends their life being judged they will think of something but you at least have tried to be positive and offer a message that invites them to be part of the future.
