There can be a benefit to this impatience. I’ve found that it often leads me to figure out the most efficient way of doing something (particularly a repetitive task at work). Just yesterday, I came up with a really simple way of speeding up the chore of inspecting every single seat in the theatre (BOTH theatres, since we have two in this building) for dirt and mechanical issues. It was amazing how simple the solution was. And as soon as I suggested it, my managers thought it was a great idea, and we used it right away!
