Hi Steve,

I have problems with emotional regulation. I take methylphenidate but am relatively newly diagnosed and am still playing around with doses. I have predominantly inattentive ADHD but I have anger outbursts and am quite impulsive. Anger and lack of concentration/focus are my biggest issues. The methylphenidate (generic Ritalin) seems to calm me down quite nicely. I can feel it kicking in and it’s like sinking into a softer nicer place. I just hope it continues to work. I am still trying it out and I have read that it doesn’t always continue to work. Hopefully it will be OK. I don’t have any experience with anything else at the moment.
