Hey everyone, thanks for posting your experiences. I was just diagnosed two days ago and have an appointment with my doctor next Thursday for prescribing meds.

John, I hope my experience follows yours. I have to admit I’ve got my hopes up. Even the psychologist who diagnosed me said he felt the pharmaceutical route would likely be very significant for me…which also got me hopeful.

I’ve been reading some other posts on this forum and I think the Ritalin approach will be my first choice, if I’m even given one.

I’ll come back here and post my experience with you.
