sugargremlin, just saw your post here, modafinil is a narcolepsy drug and I don’t think it’s prescribed for ADD. But it seems to have settled down many of the ADD symptoms I was experiencing. I’m just grateful to have a diagnosis and medication, it’s really making a big difference for me. The fine-tuning of med doseage is challenging, and I’m a bit worried about tolerance down the road, but so far things are looking much better. I wish I could have another sleep study just to see what might have changed with the meds, or whether it’s just influencing the daytime wakefulness.
