I found a psychiatrist that returned to practice after raising young children. Before that most psychiatrists are not accepting new patients. There is a solution. The Boston area must have several educational institutions with psychiatric training. Call them and they can arrange an appointment with professionals that are finishing up there licensing requirements. They will accept insurance and remember that they are already MDs and not a 2nd year med student. Another good source of treatment is thru psychologists. They usually can provide you with access to a psychiatrist who must prescribe and control medicines that may be used in treatment.
