Finally, a familiar face! (well, a familiar shoe anyway)
Very interesting article. Just one problem: I’m not a macaque or a computer. Well, okay, I guess technically speaking, the brain is a computer. But I would still like to see some human tests before I get too excited about it.
Hmm… Good article for giving a basic, generic overview of ADHD I guess. I have a few issues with it, but I have issues with everything. Its a bit stereotypical and generalizes things a little too much. But the general public generally doesn’t want a detailed explanation of anything. Besides, they don’t get it anyway, no matter how many times you explain it….
The biggest problem is the reference to special ed. programs. Unless they mean enriched classes, which are a form of special ed., I object. If there are no learning disabilities present which are severe enough to make it difficult for the child to learn in a regular classroom, then kids with ADHD most definitely do not belong in special ed.
