I am 66 years old and have hypertension controlled by medication. I am overweight (5’5″ 220 lbs) but exercise regularly (3+ times a week) and am a member of WeightWatchers. My primary care doctor is the one who prescribes my methylphenidate, but not the one who originally diagnosed me. She is concerned about the dosage level and my HPB. I take 30mg in the am and prefer to take 30mg about 2:30 pm. She prescribes 30 in the am and 20mg in the afternoon. I get around this by not taking it on some days (usually because I forget). Then I have enough to last the month. Should I be concerned as well?
