Lots of us with ADHD are in the strongest possible forms of denial. We have been told so long by society that WE are our own problem, and laziness, trouble focusing/completing tasks, etc. etc. etc. is OUR own fault.
If this guy really does have ADHD, I think that his attempt to point out the positive is probably just a glorified coping mechanism.
I think there are *some* (precious few) advantages to having ADHD. But if he has it and can only see the advantages I think he’s in a serious form of denial.
Just my 2 cents.
