Hi Frank, I dont ride myself but pedel two wheels when i can. Driving a car was never a great experience for me. I’ve been in multiple collisons all under 5 mph, and my license was suspended for speeding in 2002. I’ve thought about getting a bike myself, they are cheeper to opperate, and are better in trafic to some extent as long as you dont have to sit for long in the summer or anything. I have asked other riders in my family what they thought and with no suprise was told that i’d kill myself, and that I cant ride a bicycle without crashing. Granted i have a great collection of scars, most were due to riding a 20″ and not a road bike, then there was that pot hole that I ate with a dislocated shoulder. The point is that I allowed myself to be scared into not buying one, not getting my opperators license and all that stuff and i’m still riding the bus, or a bike, or bumming a ride. Walking is nice but gets old after you start to consider 5 miles as walking distance. Oh yeah I dont think it matters on this one but when i was wanting a bike i didnt know I had ADHD, whether or not it would have made a difference in the responses I got I really dont know. One of the persons asked is an old biker from back in the day that used to hang with the sons of silence although never a member. The other is a former AMA super bike rider, both concure that i’d do poorley.

I wish I would have been impulsive on this one
