I have been seen by my local GP, who boldly stated there was no such thing as ADD! Lucky my wife is a nurse and informed the GP that he would have to follow certain guidelines….
Then I had to see several shrinks and now have funding to go to a specialist hospital in London to assertain my type and treatments.
My wife and I use various tools, calendars/reminders/file systems and chore charts and i am on several sleep and mood drugs.
I am waiting for my final appointments to come through as to my subtype and then i feel i can get on with my life…
Sorry to ramble! I hope some of this makes some kind of sense….
