Halobender
Having only recently found out about my “situation”, I can’t say much about the meds available these days.
I was given Wellbutrin for “anxiety issues “ many years ago, and I fell into a bottle for about twenty years, and I do use that leaf. I have always had a thing about medicines, even when little. My doc gets irate because I don’t take the pills he gives me. It’s just handier to forget, y’know?
None the less, I think (how’s that for humor?) that I am about medium for intelligence, and I’ve been kicking around this mud ball for 67years. I tend to give “life experience “ every bit as much credit as “higher learning” when it comes to good tactics, whether for survival or what have you.
Forgive me taking so long to get this out.
When I was young, back in the early 70’s, we had leaf then, too, but NOTHING like we have now. We also had these mushrooms from certain grassy areas in Oregon that produced hallucinations if you ate enough.
What MY point is, is that I was observant back then, even though I didn’t know that add was the cause.
I had all the symptoms, with no info at all.
I observed, that if you ate only a few of these mushrooms, your eyesight improved dramatically for the ability to see detail, and color was enhanced by two more.
If you were eating a lot, you would see patterns on the inside of your eyelids, and you could have a nice little vision.
But: I also noticed that , for me, there was also a marked feeling of physical relaxation that I can only say is like spending too much time in a hot tub, but without the wrinkles.
A few years ago, at Oregon Health Sciences University, they were starting a study about silicibin (sp?) mushrooms and epilepsy.
Question: has anyone heard of any such study that might correlate with add? (Wow! All that for that.)
