Funny and embarrassing moments?

I was on a train journey with a couple of change-overs and I went to the window at the station to ask when the next train to Carlisle was.

The lady looked at me, completely confused and said, ‘This IS Carlisle’.

And did I say, ‘Oh, thanks. It’s been a long journey and I lost track of where I was.’?

No, that would be too straightforward.

What I actually said was,

“Yes it is. Well done.” and walked off.

lol no problem. helps you fit in here I have a ton of stories of not knowing where I am. Missing the bus stop to life since the first grade. I wore a dog tag with my name, address, and phone number until I was nearly 8 years old. like if you find this child, please return to us.
