Erm, send ’em a text that ‘your’e letting them go’, and that you’re resignation is effective immediately, and perhaps give them a patronising thank-you for the adherence to the professional relationship that was cultivated and nurtured, whilst not forgetting to wish them all the best in their future endeavours!
