I’m a lifelong ADD’er (I’ll post my whole story when I have time, suffice it to say I leared about ADD in the early 90’s and actively worked with my psycologist in Charlotte, NC where we both learned what ADD was all about [as it was a newly recognized field of research] and how to treat it). I’ve been in denial for several (many?) years and am now getting back on meds. The first step is admitting my problem, right?
Anyway, I’m looking for ADULT support groups in the Seattle area, preferrably eastside (Redmond/Kirkland/Sammamish areas). I really need the support of others, there is an immense amount of value in meeting a group that shares the same issues. The only meetings/groups that I’ve found are CHADD based and focus on kids. Can anyone help me out here?
Thanks!
