Our conference has a new format spanning three days: Friday, December 2nd, Saturday, December 3rd, and Sunday, December 4th. Each day has a special focus, multiple speakers, and a separate fee. You may register for a single date or multiple dates if you desire. Friday we offer a $10 discount for couples
Friday’s presentations will focus on parents of children with ADHD and medical professionals and is entitled: “Neurodevelopmental Disorders in the Home & Community.” Saturday will target primarily educators and medical professionals, and is entitled: “Neurodevelopmental Disorders in the Classroom.” And finally, Sunday’s topics will feature adults with ADHD, and is entitled: “Adult ADHD: Treatments & Strategies.”
Dr. Ross Greene will be presenting on the Collaborative Problem Solving (CPS) approach in the home (Friday) and in the classroom and school (Saturday).
Dr. Tony Rostain will be sharing his expertise on how ADHD and other disorders frequently coexist, and how neurodevelopmental (brain-based) disorders affect children both in the home (Friday) and the classroom (Saturday).
On Sunday, Dr. Rostain will present on Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and Medication as a combined treatment for adults with ADHD. Sunday will have four additional workshops: Shana Tator-Pearson will present about ADHD coaching; Sue Potter and Rose Ritchi will be sharing information about ADHD strategies in the workplace; Sue Potter and Lisa Booth will present about couples, providing strategies for improving relationships when one or both partners have ADHD; and Dr. David Teplin will be speaking about parents who have ADHD. There is sure to be something for everyone!
