Juggling, walking a tight rope or balancing a pole on the end of ones finger just to name a few. I have also read that neuro-feedback devices do the same thing in order to teach the brain how to concentrate.
My first question is can one significantly improve their concentration abilities by practicing simple balancing exercises, would this be as effective as using a neuro-feedback machine?
Has any experimentation done to find out if this works. Maybe if one practiced long enough (every day for so many days, months) one could permanently improve their concentration ability. Do you think this idea is worthy of experimentation? I would appreciate an
opinion from a knowledgeable person. It would be great if Dr. Jain could give us his thoughts on this matter.
My second question: I have heard that the Nintendo wii video game, played on the T V screen with a balancing board, gives one the opportunity to practice a variety different balancing exercises. I am wondering if this game would be as effective as a neuro-feedback machine in training the brain how to concentrate? Certainly a lot cheaper, affordable, and a lot of fun to do. I would like to buy one, but don’t want to buy if it doesn’t work for this purpose. Again need an experts opinion, but would be interested to read any ones opinions, ideas or comments on this matter.
