Hi, I was “diagnosed” by a psychiatrist about 2 years ago, but have been on medication for a little over 3 years. I’ve had a very difficult time finding a medical professional locally who knows about treating ADHD and combining medications for someone my age (52). I am really struggling these days to be effective at work, and get things done at home, and my current med. just isn’t helping all that much. Does anyone have suggestions about how to find the right doctor? The psychiatrist was VERY expensive, and my insurance covered very little of any ongoing treatment with him.
