I’m a big fan of David Seah now, and here’s a website he suggested for various productivity tools. Some of them might be useful at different times.

The Personal MBA – this page lists a LOT of tools that the author uses on a daily basis (he’s a big fan of David Seah too)

He has another twist on using the Emergent Task Timer worksheet by David – he uses coloured markers to fill in the 15 minute bubbles that indicate his energy level for the day. That’s very useful to give me an overview of when I am at my best (or worst) during the day, so I’m going to try it. I found the Task Timer really useful to keep me on track and actually document that I CAN get things done.

The Autofocus system is kind of how I work anyway – I have a long list of things that I want to do and I do what I feel like doing, so I’m not sure it’s a good idea for ADDers, but it was interesting to see someone put it into print and aspire to it! 😆

He also talks about the Enso Pearl timer – I love this clock! I use this as well as the Klip mobile timer for timing everything. Disclaimer: a friend of mine sells them here http://zafuzafu.com/meditation_timers_canada.html

Thanks for the suggestions. I’m tempted to check them out now, but I really should go to bed…

Cell phone alarms, I use Alarm Clock Xtreme Free for my droid. I can set my 5 alarms in the morning to get to work with different notification tones or songs, and can set each one to either graduallyy increase volume or full volume, whether to allow it to snooze or not and how long the snooze is for, whether that snooze is for a set # of minutes or decreases by 2 or 5 or 10 minutes each time, also whether it will snooze more than a set number of times and other variables. It’s a lifesaver!

At work, I use the office email (Outlook) to remind me to go to lunch and to go home. Another alarm at night to take my melatonin so I can fall asleep. But, by far, the cell phone app is the best thing in the world for me. Time Management is my biggest deficit.

The cell phone alarms is also a must to me and as such I will not late for the work, for the appointment….. Ther is also another thing I cannot live without–the to do list that will help me not miss each task on the job or even something in daily life. Now the online to do list software I am using is TABB. It is not bad. Who also would like to have such kind of online to do list software can have a try. http://www.tabb.ca/ Sometimes I fell I am controlled by these two tools ahlthough they do help me a lot. This may be caused by the busy work andimproper time management.
