Hello to everyone of our members, from all over the world.

It’s been a wildly busy year for us, but incredibly exciting. We’ve been to a slew of ADHD conferences and events, and given many live programs across North America.

We’ve interviewed many more experts this year. Their stories, ideas, experience, and knowledge is incredible. We are working as fast as we can to turn these interviews into finished videos.

So far, we produced four new ADHD videos in the past few months on specific topics: Sleeping issues, self-medicating with Cannabis, using a Holistic Approach to ADHD, and facing the world so you can defend your diagnosis from those who deny, dismiss, or diminish the impact ADHD can have on your life.

What other topics would you like us to cover? What is it you want to know more about? Where are you struggling? Students and school? Women’s issues? Organizing? Finances? Medication?

    What matters to you?

Other big successes this year include our webinars. Amazing. 37 of them in one year. With ADHD experts, doctors, researchers, authors, even cartoonist-animator Bryce Hallett and the Guinness World Record Memory Champion Dave Farrow. Our last webinar has to be a first in the world of ADHD: Rick was joined by seven experts for a wild, fascinating, moving, look at strategies for surviving the holiday season when you’re dealing with ADHD. 90 minutes of controlled chaos.

Our second PBS special, ADD & Mastering It! is still running on select stations. And it’s now available in our shop.

To be honest, when 2013 began we weren’t sure where we’d be by the end of the year. There were three of us working full time the site: Rick Green, Ava Green, and Jimi Doidge, with Pam doing our customer support. We have since partnered with a number of experts and are developing a number of projects that will provide coaching and other learning materials to expand upon our current videos and new videos that we’re working on now.

We hope we’ve made a difference for you. We hope you’ll support us in any and every way you can, whether it’s financially through donations or purchasing goodies from our shop, or simply be getting the word out, and directing people to this amazing, expanding resource.

Thanks to every one of you who has let us know how we’re doing and what you love and what you don’t love. We’re doing something no one has ever done before, so it’s a learning curve.

See you in the new year. It’s gonna be a ton of fun.

    Thanks

    Rick

(On behalf of Ava, Jimi, Pam, Patte, Andy, Duane, and everyone else who is working behind the scenes to keep the site up and running and making a difference.

How about shame? How is it that we who are afflicted with ADD/ADHD are made to feel shameful for this thing over which we have no control?

    Happy holidays. Glad you’re here.

How about coping with unemployment? Seems to be a familiar theme.

    Happy Holidays. 🙂

Not just why we are made to feel shameful but why we feel ashamed and how to cope with those feelings.

And not just unemployment but how to get back to work after being unemployed, choosing the right job, going through the application and interview process.
