    How Inactivity Changes the Brain

What caught my eye was “these neurons now had more branches than normal neurons would have, making them more sensitive to stimuli and apt to zap scattershot messages into the nervous system.”

    NOT what we need!

Yeah, yeah, I am back at yoga 🙂

Sounds interesting. Unfortunately, every time I try to click the link my browser closes for some reason. I’ll have to try again later.

I’ll stick with the Nun Study.

    http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/9127971

I doubt Sister Mary ran in an exercise wheel three miles a day.  I don’t know anything about Dr. Mueller, who apparently did the study cited, but I see little that I may have in common with a rat other than Norwegian origins and running around in circles.

And  the New York Times .  .  . I put them in the same catagory as the National Enquirer, the Star, and other grocery store gossip rags.
