I’ve been getting bad tummy aches every morning for the past while, and having just realized that Concerta contains lactose, damnit, I suspect that this is the cause (I’m lactose intolerant). I’ve only been taking it for a couple of months.
– is there some version of concerta available in Canada that doesn’t contain lactose? (I know the teva methylphenidate generic contains lactose)
– what are our lactose-free options for ADHD meds?
– how much lactose is in these meds? Is it a big enough amount to cause a problem?
