I was med free for 2 weeks because I had a very bad case of the flu. My ADD is considered “well adjusted”.
I had a simple task to complete while med free. I had to count the number of times I breathed in a minute. Very simple test I did using a timer. This count was used to ensure that my breathing was not affected by the flu. Part of a series of questions they ask on Telehealth Ontario as they go through your symptoms.
This task took me almost an hour to complete. I kept getting distracted and could not keep count. This scares me that I could not hold my focus for more than a minute.
