OK we know totallyadd.com is a great website.”GREAT” !!! I said, but lets be honest there are also some others that may provide additional resources and information. Can we start to create a list of them here. Sure there are many for ADD/ADHD but quite often they are not objective. That said, some still offer additional value so I am starting a list of them. If you care to add to the list or offer a strong opinion as to why they may not be so good please share your experience.

http://www.Chadd.com (support group with many local affiliates) Especially good for parents with children very local issues discussed

http://www.ADHDforums.com (great place to share) for young adults IMHO for ages 14+ through adults

http://www.Additudemag.com (just another source that provides a place to chat and gain knowledge)

http://www.add.org (another source to add to your arsenal) only thing I do not like about this site it sometimes can be boring

http://www.adhdisreal.com (good general site ) It is sponsored by “Shire” one of the “Big Pharmas” but they offer a good site

Here is one for totallyadd crew… How about creating a site for kids with add/adhd?…. where the characters could be a m & f kid that have the signs and symptoms of but learn how to manage them through the various techniques offered by your site. I think uh oh…. something that educates but also builds self esteem would be great… Something where as an adult I could use it as a tool to interact and share with my child using the medium of the computer…. As a parent of children with Add getting my kids in front of the computer today would be very easy as opposed to a big pharma hand out… Kidz luv “Bill” but I think like Disney peer to peer would be very kewl and accepted by children and young adults…

Thanks njadd, this is a good idea. Maybe we can figure out a better place to put these.

I’ll pass on your idea about the site. Thanks for sharing!
