I have a son, who is a calm normal child. He is a little over a year and a half and moving around. This is very hard for me as my attention can be very hard to break when I am focused on a household task like folding the laundry. I take Strattera. Today he wanted me to stay on the couch and look at a book. It was kind of pathetic, because his attention span was longer than mine. After a few minutes I got up to check email and he came over to me and signed more and gave me the book back. So we got back on the couch and looked some more, but it was hard for me. He is very social and loves interaction and sometimes it is hard me. I feel bad and try to adjust my behavior. Can anyone else relate to this?
