carsonky – times like that I don’t like the self-checkout. If it’s not got a clear barcode, then I go through a line. Of course the stores here that sell produce have actually removed the self-checkout lines.
kc5jck – thanks a bunch for the hot tip when I’m in line! I recently put a droid app on my new phone- a bar code scanner. I could really have a blast with it in the line waiting.
(I keep threatening our cat, Pickle, that I’m going to get my phone and scan all the lines on him to see what he’s worth. He just sits, smiles, and gives me a wink. He knows he’s priceless. He’s got some really intense bold stripes on him and the insides of his legs do look like they are covered in bar codes.)
