After about 8 months of trying to get the med dose right – I’ve tried methylphenidate, Adderall, Biphentin, Concerta and now Ritalin – I’m suddenly getting heartburn ( I assume – it’s a sort of burning sensation in my throat kind of like being in a smokey bar all night feeling). Since the medications are really all based on methylphenidate albeit different in their delivery method, is it normal to suddenly get this side-effect? I would think the body would be used to it by now. And actually noticing this with Ritalin and not the generic.

    Anyone else experience this?
