I am 56. I am an ADD adult, diagnosed at 55. I thought the diagnosis would make me like myself more. Uh, not quite. My Doctor said I was probably ADD as a child but because of my very high IQ I compensated. Little comfort, although it does explain some things from childhood and beyond. My Doctor prescribed Concerta -- no changes. As stupid/silly/cheap as this sounds, I'm researching and working through ADD on my own. I expect wrong turns, stalls, flat tires and snapped tie rod ends, however, with TotallyADD as my map, I'm looking forward to the journey......wherever it takes me!
