Thanks for your response Richard, it’s very much appreciated! I went to the doctor’s yesterday and she has referred me to a psychiatrist to get a formal diagnosis, so all boding well I should be able to get some help there. I’ll be sure to let you know how it goes, although I am a little scared and I feel like a should have done this a long time ago. It would have helped so much through middle school. *sigh* I have heard that adult diagnoses are quite common though as often adults don’t realize that’s what it is until later.
