I need some assistance in this area. I’ve recently been diagnosed with ADD & Depression. I was recommended for vocational and aptitute training in Toronto, but wanted some feedback from anyone in this group who has tried or had experiences with providers in the Toronto area.

Thanks in advance for any info!!

I remember several years back after the company I worked for went bust that the Government of Canada’s Employment – Service Canada did help me with aptitude and vocational skills assessment. Best of all, it was free

    Go here:

    Hope this helps…and good luck

ADDIed you are right. Iam in manitoba and after losing 3 jobs in the last year , with the help of the LD people here EI finely agreed to fund a aptitude and a new acessment. things are starting to look up . so are first steps will be the acessment and finding my interest to see what I should be doing for a living . it was funny going over the diffirent list of thing to chose from it was done that tried that whent broke twice doing that. so she finely says take it home do it there and you might as well bring me a complete work history. I don’t know if my memory can hold all that info , but I will give it a shot.

after all this they go to E I for more money to train you for your chosen job . but it is still up to EI if they will pay for a chorse at that point. hope that helps.

oh yeah- apparently you don’t have to be remotely jewish or interested in converting to receive their help- there is no sales pitch either. :D
