Busted out not paying attention at an ADD meeting!

I was recently attending, for my first time, an ADD/ADHD group meeting. We were going to break off into smaller discussion groups. The first person in the circle started by saying ‘Number One’ the next person ‘Number Two’ and so on, identifying what numbered group you would be in. My friend beside me was number five, so I piped up with a hearty ‘Number Six’ which was met with laughter! There were only FIVE discussion groups and of course I was not paying attention at all when they were explaining that part!

(the circus in my mind was playing…what can I say?)

Yep…doesn’t get any more ironic, does it?
