i don’t know how i survived without my iphone. i still keep a written to-do list on my desk, because somehow trying a zillion task management apps didn’t yield one that i can stick to better than a big blank pad of paper. but having my gmail calendars all on my phone so i can check it on the go, add appointments immediately, and have them set to have an alarm by default, has helped so much with not forgetting appointments. and being able to look up the details for things helps when i get to the building and realize i forgot to write down what room that appointment was in. i always always have it with me, unlike the tons of different paper planners i went through trying to find the ‘perfect’ one. i love the idea of a paper planner but i always seem to abandon them after 2 or 3 weeks.
