Two relatively recent ones that were very annoying:
Last Halloween, myself and a friend got all dressed up for a party to go with me. Turns out the party was the following night. I was so worn out by getting up the courage to go (I have social anxiety) and embarrassed that I didn’t go back the next night.
A month ago, I was going to make a long trip to a location where I would be interviewing someone. I had thoroughly researched everything, put a memory card in my phone so I could use it to record the interview, written my questions out and re-organized them in the most natural sequence for the interviewee…I even left early just in case. On the subway, I decided to pull out my questions to review them…and they weren’t there. Thank God I had left so very early that I actually was able to go back and get them.
