    Ha ha! Thanks for your input! I will defiantly talk to my doctor before I do anything. I’m just hoping that people can share stories, resolutions, med combos that work for them etc. See, what you said is encouraging. Hopefully my doc will say its ok to continue and the heart rate should subside. I just can’t wait to see what he says, but knowing there might be options helps. Thanks for you input 🙂 It is nice talking to people who have been through this!

    Thanks for sharing 🙂 I’m going to sit and talk with my doctor, just for now, trying to understand what my options may be, if any.  Hopefully I will find something that works for me! Thanks again!!

    Is anybody taking a beta blocker with their meds? Is it safe to do that? My meds make my pulse go up to 110 so I stopped taking them until i see my doc 🙁 I don’t know what to do but I know the meds helped me so much.

    Thanks! I will talk to my doctor. Do you know if they prescribe something to slow the heart? Or is that a bad idea?

    I’m glad you found something that worked well for you 🙂 I have seen some people take beta  blockers with their meds, then I see that that’s not recommend. Do you know anything about that? I love the vyvanse. Also, does heart rate side effect subside? I stopped taking it before I had a chance to talk to my doc.

    Hi! I’m also new here. I just got diagnosed two weeks ago. Where can I go to get some support? I started meds, they work great, my mind was clear and productive for the first time in 30 years 🙂 Then I noticed my heart rate was 110 and stopped taking the meds. I feel just like I used to and I am wondering where I might find people with similar stories!? I want to take my meds, but don’t want my heart rate so fast. Any ideas?

    Oops. I meant can you take blood pressure meds while on stimulants?

    Can you take no meds with stimulants? I’m on vyvanse and it raises my Bo and brings my heart up to 115. The meds work great, but I stopped taking it because of my pulse 🙁 I don’t know what to do now.
